Newlyn and Penzance form a single conurbation at the far west of Cornwall, but Newlyn has retained its own identity. It’s home to the second largest fishing port in the UK, after Peterhead in Aberdeenshire. It also still has a vibrant artistic community.
This image shows the old fishermen’s chapel from above. It lay derelict for decades and has now been converted into a cafe and community hub.
